I have a set of Audi a4 16" x 7" and they don't seem to clear the caliper carrier. Should I get 10-15mm spacer? or just get a new set of wheels that are 16"x7.5'? If running the spacer is the best option will this shorten the life of the suspension/wheel bearings?.. Thanks guys for your help and let me know if you need any other information

I have heard that they could shorten the life of the bearings- dont know if that's true or not. If you are worried about that then just get spacers that are just big enough for clearance- get hub centric ones and longer bolts if needed.

I ran 15 mm spacers for a couple years w/o issue. Spacers are cheaper than new wheels. Ecs has them on sale now. So measure as best you can and get a set that works best for you.

What would the offset of the wheels be with the spacer? That would determine whether or not you'd see any increased bearing wear. I probably wouldn't worry about it unless you end up with some crazy offset. I mean look at the kind of fitments the people on audizine run.
