That car looks great! I'd say the drop is perfect, although it might be a little rough while driving.

Definitely not enough tire...255's stretched over a 9" wheel. Needs at least a 275

yeah, those wheels are a little....eh, not my style so much. And 255's on a 9" wheel? Not so bright....

The price from Champion Motorsport is a little over the top. The module however is perfect. You can get the exact same module for $1000 less

Here some additional pictures showing how the module works.

A lot off people ask me regarding the VAG-COM vs. aftermarket module sold. Mainly because $$$

I say it depends on the individual person point of view. If the reprogramming via software has no side effect (which we may not even know at this point) how come top Audi tuner like MTM or ABT buy the 3rd party solution and resell it ?

It would be so simple for them to lower it in-house in Germany via VAG-COM.

Could it be they know something we don't ? Maybe they know that the software solution will have a side effect after a while which may backfire against their good reputation?

I included the time so you get an idea how long it takes to lower or raise the A8 via MMI

Car specs:

2005 Audi A8 short wheel base (fully loaded) owned by Tunershop North America

Wheels are custom made to Tunershop specs by OZ North America
Front 20x10.5 OZ Leonardo with 285/30-20 Dunlop SP9000
Rear 20x11 OZ Leonardo with 285/30-20 Dunlop SP9000

Special thanks to OZ for building the rims for us and Dunlop for supplying the tires.
