Currently I'm in a mint Ibis white 2012 S4 with 13000 kilometers.
Options on current car:
-19in peelers
-back up sensors
The car I'm looking at trading for is used at a Chrysler dealer. Its a 2013 Ibis white premium plus with navi, B&O, Sport diff and peelers. The used 2013 has 3500 kilometers on it.
What do you guys think would be a fair price difference for these cars?
Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks.
Assuming same transmission $10,000. In Canada there is only Standard, and Premium lines. You can't order the B&O with the Standard package, so it must be a premium model.
The price tag in Canada on the car you want to trade for is $65,531 (If it's a 6MT) since it's exactly the same as mine. It's used from a non-audi dealer so I would assume it's worth about $62,XXX.
Yours is a base model with no options. I would imagine you would be able to get about 52k for yours.

They are asking $62500 for the 2013. I was going to offer them $8900 tax in and see if they would go for that.... $10000 seems like the more likely price though. Basically what you said was exactly what I was thinking haha.
Thanks for the info!

$62,500 taxes and fees in, I assume? Because MSRP on Canadian Premium (which includes Nav, B&O, Blind spot and backup sensors etc) with Sport Diff/6MT is $60K brand new
One factor would be how much they had to pay for it and how eager they are to get it off their lot (maybe they already made a tidy profit on what they paid the previous owner in tradein.) You could shop your car around to Audi dealers who might (?) pay more, and then just buy the used 2013 straight up from Chrysler. More legwork but might be worth it.

It's 60k before destination charge, tire tax, licensing fee, rape fee etc.
It's really hard to straight up sell your vehicle to a dealership. They won't give you shit for it unless you are going to buy something from them.
OP - Maybe find the total $9-10k that the dealership is willing to go, then go to the nearest Audi dealer and offer the same price 9-10k + trade in for a brand new 2013 Spec'd how you want it.

They will most likely just offer you black book value for your car. The dealerships in Regina are brutal for this. I think you would be better off waiting for the b9 and selling privately.
They would probably offer you mid to high 40's for your car
