Hey guys, just wanted to share a few pictures with ya. I picked up my new 2013 a few weeks ago, just got the clearbra and tint done. I just finished the OEMPlus grille install yesterday and it looks fantastic. I wanted to give other 2013 Monsoon Grey owners a taste of what the car looks like with the black grille -- SO much nicer IMO.
Any input on what I should do next?

Also, for those wanting to follow suit, I used the install guide here:

The only differences (this guide was for B8) were pretty minor. The hardest part I had installing this was removing the grille from the bumper, there are a few plastic tabs inside the edge of the grille that were hidden from me at first until I looked closer. You have to put your finger inside the grill to open them up (I ended up having to use a flathead screwdriver).

Grey w/ black accents is always hot. I'd do the fog light and window trim next. [cool]
Wonder if they'll release the titanium package option for 2014.

I'm considering this in the future... Might go with the Stasis suspension. Not that big of a drop?

For the trim, would it just be vinyl stripping that goes over the chrome? Not sure if there is a body shop here that specializes in that type of thing...
+1 to lowering and the black accents (fogs and window trim). I'm getting the exact same thing done once my black grille arrives.

Yup, vinyl over the trim.

Looks great! I installed my grill yesterday and posted pics also. I'm actually leaving the window trim and fogs to match the Audi emblem and mirrors.

Saw your post just before I was going to do mine. Your white looks incredible with the black grille, very nice.
Initially I wanted to go white but changed to grey after I found out they didn't offer the titanium package for 2013. Didn't even think about replacing the grille myself! Oh well, loving the grey now.

I couldn't find anyone willing to do it locally for a reasonable price, so I just plasti-dipped mine.

Looks good, is your belt-line trim inside stainless, carbon or something else?
I'm keeping my car all monsoon gray / stainless / chrome since that's what the interior is. The black does look really good though! (and sort of making me reconsider)

Ok looking into each of these now... :)

I've thought about doing it this way as well. I might end up leaving the chrome as it does match other pieces. Not sure yet though, I think the car would look really slick with all black.

The inside is all stainless, so it does match somewhat. I really really recommend the black grille, it looks much better in person than these pics show.

Looks great man! Black grille is a nice addition, but anything beats the fugly OEM grille :-)

Looks good! Throw up some more pics when you get a chance...I'm still undecided on what to do with the grill when my monsoon finally arrives.

I strongly suggest you swap to the black grille, it looks very nice in person. I'll try to take some more pictures soon.

Blacked out trim with Monsoon = Sick look.
