Decreased engine vibration.
No more flywheels, crank trigger wheels, or timing gears falling off of the crankshaft.
Decreased "Clutch/Gear Box Chatter" which is caused by lightweight single mass flywheels.
Reduction in rpm drops when shifting in a competitive environment.
Gains of 3-10whp and 5-13ft/lbs. torque depending on your current setup.
An overall more efficient and reliable engine.
Manufactured by Vibratech Inc. the leader in engine dampers

The Fluidampr replaces your crank pulley to control the harmonics through all RPM ranges of your engine. The precision machined and balanced internal inertia ring inside the precision machined and balanced housing is constantly shearing through the silicone while the engine is turning, tuning to the harmonic frequency bandwidths that your engine is producing real time. Rubber (elastomeric) dampers are only tuned for a specific narrow bandwidth of harmonics and they cannot tune up or down to what your engine is producing. They also wear out and have to be rebuilt or re-tuned frequently. Our Fluidampr products never wear out or have to be re-tuned, as they are constantly balancing the engine to max efficiency via the internal inertia ring. Fluidampr also helps to calm down the chatter associated with double disc clutches.

install time will vary depending on your abilities. I can do it in about 2 hours, but my car also has been modified alot to get in and out of service position.

Basically:
1. remove bumper
2. remove three black t30 bolts with washers that hold the radiator support to the fender. 3 on each side.
3. Remove three 13mm bolts that hold the radiator support onto the frame rails. then I would use some jackstands to hold up the radiator support, it's somewhat heavy, especially when full of coolant.
4. use a 17mm wrench to release the tensioner tension on the serp belt, and pull the belt off of the alternator.
5. Remove 6 hex bolts from the crankshaft serpentine pulley to the crankshaft timing gear.
6. Reinstall in reverse. Make sure that the small nipple on the crank timing gear is square in the center of the fluidampr slot.

FWIW I bought mine from sparktec motors, think it came out to $350, USP has got a great deal on it though if they are still doing 15% off. My only complaint was that sparktec took like 2-3 weeks to get it shipped.

FYI you can't actaully mess up the timing from the dampener. HOWEVER you do need to make sure the pulley is lined up properly. It only goes on one way though so its kind of hard to screw it up unless you're an idiot...

Ahh you're right lol I'm thinking timing belt, I've only installed fluidampr's in conjuntion with the timing belt, so true if you don't remove the t belt it won't go out of time. It's hard to install incorrectly, I mean if you take note of the orientation of the old one.

No worries. I was confused because the accessory belt has no teeth, haha.

If you are doing a stage three build I would do it. Otherwise it's a lot of money for something your car already has.

What clutch do you have? Was there a noticable decrease in vibration and clutch chatter?

When I installed fluidampr, I deleted my balance shafts, installed new clutch, new turbo, etc. now when we installed drumnjuny's he said he noted a slight decrease in chatter to engage. Meaning he could get his fx400 to engage easier.
