A friend of mine has a set of the 19" Porsche Lobster Claws from a Carrera, and I was curious how the would fit on a narrow body A6. The rears are 19x11 with a 65 or 67et, which I know I will have to run adapters, and they start out around 20mm. The fronts are around 8-9" wide I believe, dont know the offset. Im really curious if they would fit, and what the perfect offset would be.

Just for reference, an oem pic of said wheels.

The ones my friend has, the centers have been professionally painted black, and the lips are factory silver.

The offsets are terrible for an a6. The fronts can work pretty easily, but the rears won't "fit" without an unlowered a6 or very modified fenders.

I figured the fronts would be easy, with them not being so wide. I honestly had doubts about the rears, but I figured I would ask. The car will be lowered, once I get it all back together, I hate stock height. Kind of sucks because hes got those and a set of fully polished Forgelines, that basically have the same specs, and theyre just collecting dust.

If you were local I'd let you borrow one of my lug adapters for a text fit, but no such luck.

I pulled the fenders for a finial fitment that is far less mexi-poke. Not for the light of heart, no way you are going to pull the fenders and save the paint. Final offset was right at et25, Tires are 275/30/19

Not sure how I feel about the poke, seeing it at another angle, that you posted Mantis. I definitely dont like the look of the small lip area of the fender being pulled, and pretty much flat out.

Happen to have anymore pics of the car and setup?

I'm running 18x10.5, and again, like Mantis, they wouldn't of fit with aggressive fender modification.

Is Vin's pic from rubbing or rolling the fender? I guess I had seen that awhile ago and thought it from messing up when trying to mod the fender...

It's actually from him being a jackass.

With an ET65 if you use an adapter that 30mm that will push you out to an ET35. I run 19x10 on an ET35 and it is nearly flush... About 1/2" shy. No seeing that those wheels are 11" if you go with an adapter of 20mm you should come out at an ET45 with your 11" wide wheel you should find yourself damn near perfect... Maybe a 10mm poke. With a slight tire stretch you should be able to fit with little to no modification just a roll of the fenders.

This is 18x10 et 30 with 255 35 tyres. Not pulled fenders. No problem.

The thing I worry about if I were to do it, is not ordering a big enough adapter, and having clearance issues with the back side lip and strut housing.
