Help ID some factory B5 head unit wires.

So I am putting a pioneer 4400BH into my B5 S4. Wondering is someone could help Identify a few wires.

This wire was plugged into the factory head unit near to bottom not in a harness.

This brown connecter was connected to a single terminal in the center of the factory head unit. Not in a harness.

And last is the antenna adapter. Why is the single blue wire with what looks like a harness plug.

The first one is definitely an antenna lead.
The second was very likely just a ground to the head unit case- it was attached tigh to the outside, right?
The third- that blue wire- should be power antenna or power to some secondary accesory like an AMP that the head unit triggers. Where does the blue wire travel to? Into a harness or did somebody add it?

The Symphony I uses two antennas. Your first picture shows one of them. Your second picture is the ground for the head unit. Anything brown like that is usually going to be a ground in an Audi. The third picture shows the amplified antenna adapter plugged into your second factory antenna. The blue wire is 12V power to the aftermarket amplified antenna adapter. Assuming that is what it's attached to. That is what they usually look like.

Ok so the first pic is a second antenna, does it get hooked up to an aftermarket head unit?

Yes seems logical the brown would be a ground.

And the blue wire coming from the antenna adapter should be tied into 12V?

The only antenna you're going to hook up is the one that plugs into the antenna adapter. Give it switched 12V and that's it.
