Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. I am new to this community. I just picked up my 2013 S4 last night: phantom black pearl, auto trans, B&O sound, Audi smart key, carbon fiber inlays, stock 18" wheels. I will post some pictures here once I finish my coffee. I am looking forward to being a part of these forums.

First question - are the 2013's still considered B8's? I want to make sure I post in right area.

Best regards!

To answer your question they are referred to as the B8.5's. Don't post a picture in here though this is the deatailersdomain black friday sale... If you go to the main B8 section and post a new thread thats where you should put up some pics

Hey Phil, before I order again, what do you recommend for a 'typical' weekend car wash

right now i have the Sonax, Wolf's WS-1N, and Adams Detail Spray in my cart

thanks for the order.

all of the above will work well Sonax Gloss Shampoo or the Wolf's White Satin.

the Adam's Detail Spray is a long time favorite of ours.

Is it true if you drop a Microfiber towel on the floor you can't reuse it? Or if you wash it with regular soap/detergent instead of microfiber wash its a goner?

I would be cautious to use it again, make sure you was them and make sure there is no dirt on them as it can scratch your paint.

What do you recommend for drying a car. Waffle weave towel/mitt or Shamwow/Chamois/Absorber

Im picking up some Sonax wheel cleaner, that stuff looks intense!

sure thing for drying we use the Uber Super Drying Towel (https://detailersdomain.com/Uber-Super-Drying-Microfiber-Towel_p_516.html)

make sure you wash it before you use it.

Awesome towel. Definitely wash it on its own before first use... otherwise lint city.

Is the Uber Firehose Spray Nozzle pretty effective?

I have a pressure washer from costco but the cord ripped, to lazy to get it fixed.
