Hey guys. Haven't posted in quite a while figured i'd have a quick rundown of all the issues i've experienced this year with my 2010 B8 S4.

My last post was regarding my Transmission failure and it giving me the parking brake malfunction error and shutting itself off.
They attempted to resolve the issue by updating the software which worked for all of 2 days or so.
Second attempt was them replacing the "Megatronics Module" which is basically the transmission brain AFAIK. Two weeks later back to the same error into parking brake malfunction into transmission turning itself off.
Their final solution is to completely replace the transmission fast forward two months later, trans installed problem solved. Absolutely no issues with the transmission so far i'm hoping it stays that way.

Last week i'm pulling out of my driveway when a weld on my exhaust fails and falls down and hits the ground.
Just spoke to my dealership and it happens to be part of my aftermarket kit so they won't cover it.
They're checking with the shop that installed it which is their off site tuning place hoping to see it fixed free of charge.
Not 100% sure what the part is called its basically in the center of the car i'll post a picture soon.

Heres the Photo of the pipe thats laying on the ground. http://i.imgur.com/evx4g.jpg

I had Mechatronics unit fail on by 11 A4 too. It took them 5 business days to get the part and fix it.

If the weld that faied is off your exhaust you need to contact AWE. They have a lifetime warranty on their system.
Glad you got your transmision replaced. Curious if they billed STaSIS for that or AoA covered it...

Oh really? did not know AWE had a warranty like that good to know.
They billed AoA as far as i know. They weren't sure if AoA would accept but they eventually did.
probably because my car only had around 19k KMs on it at the time of failure.
