Hi I have been informed that Audi claimed the Fuel filter on this car is a part for life. On any other car I have had I have always changed the filter when getting it serviced so it seems strange to me that it doesn't need changed.

Given that my car has done 111k miles on the original filter do you think it would be worth changing it or is this the type of part that only needs changed when i start having problems?

I suppose what I'm trying to ask is would I see any noticeable improvements by changing it given that I don't seem to be having any MAJOR trouble with the car?

I'll let you decide, this was mine after about 135,000 miles.

For the price and the time it takes to change it made it a no brainer for me. Has sediment, and dirty fuel drain out of it. if nothing else its piece of mind

All I could think of after watching this video was:

Shake it Fast...but watch yourself. [;)]

I have an AGA engine and I'm led to believe that this is not a job for the faint hearted, it's located near the fuel tank right? I read that you need to burst open the plastic retainers or something to that effect.
