So it is time to replace the 255/35 ZR19 V12 Evos on the VMR V713s that came with my A4. I am pretty sure I am going to replace with new v12s however do I have choices as regards the sidewall? Dropping is pretty much out due to my driveway, I am wondering if slightly higher sidewalls will fit / look better in place, and or is this pretty much the only size to run. I understand the handling vs comfort, etc. situation with profile, but is is a case the people pretty much decide between 35 and 40 and 40 will suit better, or is it 35 all the way? Any opinions welcome.

Don't have an opinion on the tires but those are cool looking apartments in the background.

On the 19s 35 series sidewall is the right size. You want to keep the rolling diameter as close as possible to stock and absolutely under 3% difference. I wouldn't add meatier sidewalls just to try and make your car look lower. Plug your stock size tires and what sizes you are thinking about doing here:

Awesome, thank you, this is the type of info I was looking for. Difference is 3.7% so 35s it is.

Apartments are familiar to anyone going to Emeryville Home Depot, which I seem to be in every weekend...
