So I got the envelope of garbage in the mail from Sirius about setting up my subscription.
$15/mo is ridiculous when I already have a phone that can stream Pandora or whatever I want to the car, so I have no intention of ever using Sirius.

However, my form says my trial ends in Dec, and I don't even have my car yet. I did European Delivery and I guess they started the 3mo trial the day I picked it up in Ingolstadt. However, it doesn't work over there, so it makes no sense to start the trial until I pick it up from the US dealer.

I still have no idea when my car will get here, so it may not even get here before the trial ends. So much for a trial.

I am hoping since T-mobile requires a SIM card that at least the 6mos hasn't started, but I haven't received any information from them yet. I don't really plan on paying $30/mo for much slower internet than I am already paying verizon $40/mo for, but I did at least want to try out all the Audi Connect features for a while.

call sirius and tell them your situation. Ask for an additional 6 months. You will more than likely receive it

Worst case they'll sell you six months for $25 if you really want to try it that bad. I just re-upped but I rarely turn it on, but for 25 it's nice to have the option.

You are fine, I just went through this. When you get your car you have to call them to associate the radio with the account, they will start your trial on that day.

Same thing happened to me after my euro delivery. Must be a glitch on their system. Gave Sirius a call and they gave me credit. As for Audi connect, you're right you need a SIM card which will be activated by the dealer so you will get 6 months for that.

I've found Sirius very easy to work with; you just need to negotiate the deal that's right for you. Keep calling until you get a representative who is willing to work with you.

Talk to them. I got 3 years for 9 dollars a month.

That's too much. Anything more than the 6 months for $25 (little over $4/month with tax)is overpaying. Tell them you want to cancel becausr you are payint too much and you want the 6 months for $25 . I just did that and that is what I am now paying. Got a refund on my charge card for what I had overpaid when I renewed

Sirius sucks! As far as their music programming goes, it's like listening to AM radio. As far as the news stations go, they have commercials!!! You have to pay Sirius for "non commercial" radio and you still get annoying commercials every 10 minutes. If it was free I wouldn't listen to it.
