Can't "end call" b8.5-Bluetooth issue?

Hi all,
Recently when my blackberry connects to the car it registers with the car that there is a call in progress.
The "end call" option is available, but it won't hang up or end the call (not that there is a call in progress)
Only way to end it is by turning off Bluetooth in mmi. I would assume it's the phone but it worked fine for past few weeks.
Only thing I did was use car as a hotspot during hurricane. For now wi-fi is off.

Driving me crazy...searched telematics section to no avail!

Hmm I'm guessing that's what you're trying to do by posting a comment like that to a joke.

Blackberry phones are crap and do not sync well with [enter any device here]. Get a new Droid or iPhone and the problem will be solved.

I have this same problem, but with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Verizon). I have learned that I have to let the other party end the call, and then it will hang up. If I initiate the hang up, the call will disconnect and the phone is happy, but the MMI thinks the call is still active. This means it won't allow the radio to play at all. The only way to fix it then is to actually reboot the phone - just turning BT on and off doesn't work, it acts like I am on a call again as soon as I re-enable BT.

no issues... but i use an iPhone... so i'm thinking it's the phone? hope you can figure out a solution - that would definitely annoy me!

I have the nexus s and I have the opposite problem. I can't pick up with mmi. I have to pick up call from my phone. Annoying.

Anyone know a fix?
