Sac Meetup 11/17 @ 2PM

Doing what might end up being the last meetup before the Spring. This time we are taking it to Elk Grove!

Same rules as always. Please no showing off, don't disturb any other business or residents, and be respectful of the laws of the road.

Anyways, just filled my Audrina up at Chevron right in the same plaza as the meet up. Here's a picture I took of the parking lot as I was leaving the gas station. If you can picture this, the Chevron station is behind me and the Starbucks used as a point is to my left. As you can see the lot is huge. The big building you see in front is the former Gold's Gym now known as Sun Grove Church. To the right of me is a block of empty retail stores. So this lot is always empty.

Its a bolwling alley/club/food place lol, EG has no areas zoned for adult entertainment, the closest is Rancho.

So it looks like there's a 50% chance of rain happening on Saturday, all-day. With my luck, 50% chance is practically 100% chance of rain.

Either covered parking, or we had thought of moving it to Strikes if there is rain. At least then we can all gather in one place. Not near our cars, but better than getting wet.

Either way weather forecasts are never definite and I think we should have a contingency plan but not act on it until Saturday morning when we likely will have a better idea of the weather that day. From what I've read most the rain looks like its after 5pm, hopefully we should be ok. *fingers crossed*

Yeah...there arent' any covered lots in Elk Grove. Nearest would probably be somewhere downtown or Sac State.

Either way, I'm hoping it doesnt rain...

Ok guys here is the information if it rains on Saturday. The original location will still be used if its not raining.

The contingency plan if it rains is to meet at Strikes, which is a 2 minute drive from the original location. The meet will go on rain or shine :)

There is a bar called Coaches in Strikes, I'll get there early and try to get a table or area big enough for 10-12 people since that seems to be how many people we have (correct me if I'm wrong please).

Sounds fun, planning stinks though since predicting the weather and giving people enough time to respond go out the window.

Maybe a quick local drive around the delta area, that would be fun.
