Well once again I'm having another wierd issue with my
B5 1.8t so in the past two months I have done the following things
Ecu tune stage 1, forged diverter valve, timing belt, water pump,
Clutch k&n filter,h&r springs, koni struts, rack and pinion,o2 sensors,
And three maf sensors.
So once again I have a maf issue getting the code for air fuel malfunction
Third one installed and its bad in less than 50 miles it runs fine just a lack of power
Feels like I'm back on a factory tune. I don't get it why are they all bad or why do they go
Bad? This last time I cleaned the filter with less then 2500 miles on it
And lightly oiled it. I have run k&n on many cars and never had a problem is it the factory maf sensors
Are just crap ? The dealer has warrentied booth sensors and won't do a third without
Putting it in their shop. What do you guys think?

Wonder if its a grounding issue with the harness
Cause the sensors to go out prematurely.????
Or a bad connection on the plug side if the harness

sometimes the oil from K&N's can cause problems with MAFs
