Hi! Newbie here![:)]

I'm looking into trading my 335i for a 2010 S4, do you know if there's anything I need to look out for with the 2010 models? Any major recalls done on this 2010 S4 I need to know about?

Here's a link to the car: http://www.universityaudi.com/certified/Audi/2010-Audi-S4-d77d5e030a0a006501222b8eaec27c82.htm

Price seems high, I'm going to start at 42k and see where it goes from there. What do you think is a realistic price for this car?

Thanks in advance!!

for 2010 the major thing to look out for would be the waterpump updte, but id imagine by this point most if not all have been replaced

Seems a little high to me too considering it doesn't have nav, etc. I am assuming this is certified to 100k miles? Don't settle for less.

I hope it works out so we can welcome you to the Audi family!

Thanks, I hope to join the Audi family as well! [;)]

The car is auto and has Prestige package on it, the website is incorrect with their Premium package. The salesman sent me the sticker and it says Prestige package and it's certified for 2 additional years after the original factory warranty expires. I'm still going to be aggressive with my offer, since it's 2010 model, guess we'll see how it goes!

Hey i had a FBO 335i before as well :)

Picked up this S4 a few weeks ago, have not looked back.

Anyways I got a Certified Pre-Owned 2010 Ibis White S4 Prestige . Fully loaded with Nav, Audi Drive Select, Quattro, Sport diff, lane change assistant and a bunch more. Car only had 19k miles and had brand new tires, car was in super condition.

Paid 43500

oh and it was a 6MT

Excuse my ignorance, what does the FBO denote?

FBO = full bolt on, ie. catback, intake, manifolds, fmic, etc...

2010 with only 15k miles? Make sure the maintenance was done based on the TIME schedule, as something a few years old will have needed a few services.

I suspect this was either a city car (hard miles) or was a weekend-only car. Low mileage is not always a good thing.

I'm not sure how this car is optioned but the price sounds VERY high. I picked up a 2011 with 22k miles, s-tronic / DSG with sport diff and Alcantara seats for 41k certified. For that price listed you should be able to find a prestige model.

Very true. My M3s were high mileage cars (20-30k per year), but most of that was logged with the cruise control on the turnpike, not weekends at the track.

Due diligence is needed

Thanks, I am disappointed in myself, coming from a tuner car prior to my S4 I should have know that.
