What do you guys think 18" OEM wheels w/ or without tires are worth? With 10,000 miles on them and scratches or scuffs? I can't seem to find any for sale right now, and the stuff on ebay appears to be high priced knock off wheels.

If they're beat up and in need of refinishing, maybe $5-600? Mint ones can probably get $800-1000. Tires might add another $200 if there's 6/32"+ left.
The replicas are actually very good. I ran a set of RS6 reps on my B6 S4 and no issues after a year of driving around on the pothole-ridden streets of Chicago.

I sold my 19's with 1k miles on them in perfect condition for 1k. I doubt you will get any more than $500 for 18's which most people want to upgrade FROM.

For 19s you should be able to get 1500 with tires (with a good amount of tire tread left) and for 18s with tires around 1000

Plenty of non-B8 guys will take them.

There are lots of guys that would like oem 18"s to run as their winters also... If you we're closer to me I'd make an offer!

^ exactly. If your price point is right, you could easily sell them on the forum to a guy looking for a low cost winter setup.

If anyone is selling, I would buy them for that very reason

Agree. $500 and someone locally would take them pretty fast.

Someone's selling OEM 18's on ebay right now, with tires, for $2100; + 250 for shipping. Who knows if they will sell at that price, though.

There is a local guy here in CT who has his 19" peelers posted on CL for $3,100. He priced them using dealer prices for the tires and wheels. I told him I would give him $1,500 and if he didn't like it, the offer would still stand in a month when they still haven't sold for $3,100. He told me to fuck off.

There's a retailer, "OEM Wheels", that sells the OEM 18's for $199 each. I don't know if they'd give a deal if you bought four; regardless, that would be $800 retail without tires. I've recently seen ebay OEM "Style" 18's with 45 ET go for $560 for all 4 with free shipping.
I sold my Passat take -offs for $100 (all four with tires). I actually felt like giving a Passat forum member a good deal, as I enjoy finding a good deal myself. On the other hand, if someone is advertising an item that I think is way overpriced, I'd rather not make them what I feel is a "reasonable" offer because the response you got is usually the result.

I just watched an episode of Pawn stars where a guy wanted 100K for a lame ass custom trike, worth about $15K in parts. Fair Market Value is a concept that fly's over the heads of most people...

That's crazy.
My dealer quoted me a price of $500 each for the 19" peelers.

Your tires alone are worth $1,000. However, those Perelli's are not the greatest tire. The 19" peelers have a better resale value. Those are worth $1,800 plus with rubber and rims. To the guy trying to get $3,100, good luck to him. Who would pay that amount without warranty. I'm sure if he holds out he will get $2-2,200. 19" tires alone are $2,000.

Agree.
You can buy quality oem replicas. There is no reason to pay more for scuffed OEM wheels. Used tires are used tires, depends on tread remaining but essentially aren't worth much.

Sold my 18" OEM wheels and tires to a Mercedes owner (they apparently fit), $1k, quite some time ago.
Sold mine a long time ago when I got the peelers from Primetime. They were going to sell for $1k with the tires with about 5k on them. I hit a piece of road debris on the i95 and one of them got a small piece of curb rash looking damage on it. I told the kid on the phone the same day it happened and before he could say anything I dropped the price to $850. They sold without problem.
