i am beginning to think my winter setup will look nicer than my summers now! [:)]

rotiform sna machined finish 19x9 with 39mm offset gives me the exact flush fender fitment as my current vmr 710 19x9.5 45mm offset which i have been very happy with (lowered on h&r oe with no rubbing). the benefit of the narrower 9" width is my tires no longer are stretched and there is some lip protection (lip on the 9.5" vmr's extend past tire, which i managed to nick when i turned my wheels 45 degrees on a hill to park)

one word of caution with any polished or machined mirror finish. any flaws in the clear coat will be much more noticeable. even with my tires mounted using the "touchless" corghi machine, the tires themselves managed to scuff the edges! a little time with the porter cable and some swirl remover quickly fixed that though. i guess err on the side of caution and use lots of grease when mounting.

the rotiform center caps are 60mm in diameter so the our stock audi caps will not fit (they are 69mm due to the outer chrome ring). i have placed an order for 60mm audi caps though, which hopefull will snap in, but i may stick with the rotiforms as they match the machined finish nicely. i will decide when they are on the car, but they will stay cozy in the michelin tire totes for now (which are great for transporting and keeping interior clean)!

Nice wheels! I can't wait to see them mounted. They remind me of the new RS4 Avant wheels.

hands down my favorite rotiform cast wheel, just simple and timeless and perfect for a classic oem look on any audi, thankfully i get 40% off rotiform cast wheels now so il def be picking these up soon...only think that sucks is that my show car that ide like to put them on doesnt even see the winter so i feel its a waste of a great wheel lol

lets see some mounted pics and stance on the wheels

installed pics now! love those wheels.

Nice wheels but if anything the VMR's should be winter.
My 18x8 winter rims cost me $149 a piece new. [>_<]

Will the 19x9 ET35 fit our cars?

I'm really considering these wheels and Rotiforms says they will fit our cars.

Wait, I'm confused. OP says he has 19x9 ET39 but rotiform only has 35 and 40 offsets.
I do not think 19x9 ET35 would work with 255s, but they would definitely work with 40s.

I do not think 19x9 ET35 would work with 255s, but they would definitely work with 40s.

for reference, stock s5 wheels are 9"x 33mm offset and are known to rub with a 255 tire. with the 35mm rotiforms you will gain 2mm additional clearance.

a 9" wide wheel with 35mm offset and 255 tires should fit provided that you are not lowered or running winter tires like in my case which add a bit of height.

to err on the side of caution, i ordered a custom offset of 39mm which matches my current setup exactly (vmr 9.5x45mm offset). since rotiform shaves 5mm from a 35mm offset wheel to get 40mm offset wheel, why not order something exactly what you want[wrench]

Any extra cost in ordering a custom offset? Great explanation [up]

Thank you! Exactly what I needed to know. If the faces are the same with a 35 and 40ET I'll just go for the 40.

These will be my summer wheels though haha.

The SNAs are sweet. I have a matte steel set eta29 that I am putting in the classifieds soon.

like clockwork (no pun intended), i like to change out to the winter wheels when we transition back from daylight saving time. its nice the car automatically adjusts the time based on gps. perfect timing since snow is forecast this coming weekend. pretty much as flush with the fender as possible without rubbing on h&r sport oe.

what i like about the rotiforms is that i can reuse the stock ball seat nuts and no hubcentric rings are required since they are 66.7mm already (a set of 57.1mm rings are supplied for b6/b7 fitment). i wanted to maintain the oem look, so i popped on some 60mm diameter audi center caps.

overall, i am quite please with my winter setup[:)]

VERY nice winter set up man! Looks really nice! I'd opt for those in the summer even! 19's here in the midwest are not ideal for winters - my 18's will go on in the next few weeks...

My winter tire of choice. Quiet for a winter tire and very good in the snow. Read the tire rack reviews. They are consistently top rated. I used the Michelin pa3 last season, but they switched to the pa4 and there are no reviews yet so I went back to the dunlops since I have used them before with success.

I hope at that size you don't get a lot of snow. Should have gone 235 or 245. Also hope your roads are glass smooth. 19's in the winter will be subject to a lot of pot holes and at 35's you are risking your rims.
Otherwise nice looking rims.
