just detailed my A4 Avant using Collinite Marque d' Elegance wax to finish the process. Am wondering if there is any advantage to applying a second coat?
Thanks for any responses.

2 coats of a wax or sealant generally ensures you get complete coverage as it is possible to miss a spot or two on the first coat. Some sealants can be layered for extra durability.

I usually find that two coats of sealant makes for better durability, but two coats of wax generally doesn't improve much. May provide a nicer gloss, or deeper glow though.

I usually do a second coat of sealant - though I would recommend you allow for at least 4-6 hours of cure time (I do 24 hours when I have time) to allow the sealant to bond. Though I do wonder about the durability of the second coat. I know Menzerna PL needs to be applied to a naked surface, so a second coat is really about guaranteeing coverage (like mentioned above) more than it is about doubling the durability / longevity.

For wax - on darker colors you may get increased depth from doing multiple layers. Not much increased protection or durability.
