Got APR tuned 91 Oct from a Local APR dealer..
My car is 100% stock
Car definitely feels faster in just about all RPM's in every gear. 3rd and 4th gear from 3500-7000 RPMS is addicting :)
Cruising at around 70-80 in 6th gear.. no need to downshift anymore to pass up cars.. although i rarely did before, now i know I won't have to, can really feel the extra torque there.
Car also feels a little smoother while i'm accelerating, could be all in my head though haha.
Not enough road to test out 5th and 6th gear :(
I wish i was able to log data or something to see how much faster exactly I am from 60-130 or 80-120 etc
All in all it's a good tune, significant power bump, a little pricey compared to what I paid for my COBB on my 335i but still worth it.
Have a intake coming in soon, will probably pick up a full exhaust sometime in the spring next year.
I had a two buddies say they didn't feel much of a difference after t the tune.. I thought that was absurd!
EDIT: after letting the tune adapt after the drive home ~45 miles, I took her out for a spin and she was completely transformed :)

Do you mean on their own S4's, or that they drove or rode in your S4 and expressed they didn't notice much difference?

Yes in their own S4.. They both had 335i's before with a Cobb tune.. their is a bigger power bump tuning a 335i then tuning a S4.. tune only at least.. thats probably why they got that impression.

After 200-300 miles you will feel a huge difference

Does it take time to properly adjust?

You by chance in the Bay Area?

S4 is heavier, has all wheel drive, and is supercharged, unlike the 335i.

Yeah I'm well aware of this. All wheel drive is worth the extra weight IMO.

I think so . I was septical when I had read that, but once I had been tuned, I have experimented the fact that after 200-300 miles the car was insanely fast and much more than just after the reflash.

there was a thread from a few months ago where keith from apr said the ecu takes about 30-50 miles to properly adjust the maps. i know that when i got my tune, driving out of the shop, i was not impressed, but then by the time i got home (after about a 50 mile drive), it was like a different car. it is so much better in all gears, at any rpm. i can't say enough good things. BUT, i have the 93 tune (and intake fwiw), so it will be a little more aggressive than the 91.
one of my good friends has an '08 335 with proceded/vishnu, intercooler, dp's and intake and his car does pull a little harder, mainly because of the torque curve from the turbos, but it is not much faster....or at least doesn't feel much faster. we both agree driving each others cars back to back that there is not a significant difference. i have not tracked my car, but he was running 12:50's.

Its def true! I'll admit myself as i left the shop I wasn't that impressed. I did notice it was a bit quicker but not much. My drive home was about 45 miles. Once i got home i chilled a bit at home, then i went to grab some Inn n out and Plastidip from Home depot... holy crap the car was completely transformed afterwards! Pulling like no other! I could not believe how much faster it felt this time. It was intoxicating! Can't wait to take her for a spin later today :)
Yeah i had a 08 335 as well, with those mods right there he should be putting down almost ~400whp / ~430 tq (not exactly sure about the torque, more or less)
with him being lighter and rwd and having turbos, i wouldn't doubt its faster. But at the end of the day we can half throttle it through out turns, step on it all the way in 1-2-3 without spinning like crazy. Both cars have theirs ups and downs, i wouldnt mind having both though haha.
