Hey all,
My father is looking at a 2013 S4.
Estoril blue
Every single option
List price ~$63,500

The question we have is how much haggle room have people had with these cars?!

He was originally looking at an RS5 or cherokee srt-8 which have zero haggle room because of the rarity but being a (pardon me) "run of the mill s4" I would assume you can negotiate pricing?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Oh and he is putting 48,500 down from sale of his last car if that helps

Dealers don't like it when you pay for a car in cash, bring your own financing, and/or make some huge downpayment -- it means a slimmer profit margin for them.

Estoril Blue is a rare color, FWIW.

Good point. Still....pretend we were financing here. What are we talking about in terms of negotiation?

Use Truecar.com and determine the invoice. If the '13s are selling like '10-'12 did, $500-1000 over invoice is a good deal

3-4% off MSRP is basically what you are shooting for....

Based on my price (-4.3%), that gives you 60,797 offer.

look up invoice on Edmunds and offer 500 over that. They should take it.

I just got a 2013, waiting for it to arrive. I traded in two of my cars to get the new one including my current S4. I walked away from my local dealer as I got a much better deal at another dealer a little further away. $9,600 more for my trades and about $1,500 lower on the new S4. If you are buying and I assume not trading in a car I would offer 5% off the msrp and get them to throw in the tiny. Here in Canada untill months end Audi Canada throws in first payment and Audicare so I got that plus a reduced price with free tint and hood fender protection. Good luck.
