looks exactly like my injen CAI. i got a pretty good deal for it but cant really remember how much i got it for. To be honest with you, there's nothing you can tell with a CAI (performance wise or sound wise). the only thing CAi is good for is to hear the whooos BOV sound.

I am just looking for something better than stock for a decent price. I do not like drop in panel filters and a cai sounds like a choice. I just do not know what brand is a good deal. And like some people I am CHEAP.

I would say get a TTDA made by Steve Schwing. Its a costly BUT a lot more effective. He's over in Audiworld and his sig has links to all the stuff he makes. Hopefully that helps.

better than stock? a local shop in colorado told me that no intake is better for 1.8t. the stock one is the best out there for 1.8t. but if you're looking to get the psst sound...i like my injen

My main focus is always funtion. I don't want to put something on it that will decrease hp.

actually i think the stock one is better for the 1.8T Longitude engine. The TT's intake is in the rear and doesn't get as good of an airflow as 1.8 in A4's.

you will lose a little bit of power off the line. but top end, you will feel it's much better with an intake
