Phil, hate to drag up an old post, but answers vary to the two questions I have and thought I'd get your thoughts:

Expel Ultimate vs. VentureShield: do you have a preference? Local guy is quoting me the same price for both. He prefers VentureShield because he claims it's more durable and has a better adhesive than Expel. Welcome your thoughts.

Opti Coat before or after clear film? Thought I'd read that you would do it before if requested but normally do it after. Is that right? Looks like you did it before applying the film on this S4. Thanks brother!

You know as of late most customers are moving towards Xpel Ultimate.

The Xpel will cost more than Venture depending on how the installer is buying, it can be up to 30% more than Venture.

Venture is much easier to install.

Xpel you are almost better off doing as much precut as you can, it does tend to be less stretchy then the Venture.

I would personally not opti coat under the clear film its not necessarily better as the clear film is already doing the job, if by chance you have to remove the film you will need to remove excess adhesive and polish it back out anyway.
