What an amazing first week!
First off, yes, I know, the rims are very dirty – tisk tisk – however, in my defense, this is my daily driver and I can’t wash it every day but I’ll probably try to do it at least once a week. People weren’t kidding about brake dust though! I do plan on washing her within the next 48 hours, but couldn’t resist the urge to take some shots for you all to include in this quick 1-week-review post – because lets face it, we ALL love more pics.
Anyway, as I was saying… amazing! I picked her up in Philly and had to drive back to DC so I’ve put 550 miles on this car in the first week! I don’t live very far from work, but I seem to be looking for excuses to go drive at any chance I can get! This car is incredible. Now, to be honest, since my last car was a Ford Fusion, it’s OBVIOUS that this car is going to be leaps and bounds better but figured I’d state the obvious.
Overall I’m insanely happy especially since this is my first Audi. This car handles and drives like a dream and she just wants to go faster all the time! Some additions since I got the car are: I just got clearbra installed yesterday, on the full hood, fenders, front and rear bumpers so that will help me relax a bit when driving or parallel parking. I also got the digital-fit weathertech mats for inside which are VERY nice additions and will help keep the floors clean. I also installed the red “supercharged” badges myself a few days ago, so that adds a few more HP of course!
I honestly have no bad things to say at all about this car at the moment. I’m a technology geek so the navigation, google earth, wifi, and various other technologies in the car are awesome to have. I have no issues connecting with Bluetooth to my iPhone 4S and everyone I talked to said they didn’t notice I was talking hands free in the car. I haven’t used the dynamic cruise control yet (I was advised not to until about 1,500 miles in order to prevent static RPM’s on the new engine) but that’ll be the next thing to check out. I have already come to appreciate the blind-spot indicators and the rear backup camera which are both very helpful.
If anyone has any questions about stuff, let me know, but in all, I have no problems thus far (knock on wood) and just continue to have fun with the car!
Anyway, the important stuff now – pics! Enjoy!
