What an amazing first week!

First off, yes, I know, the rims are very dirty – tisk tisk – however, in my defense, this is my daily driver and I can’t wash it every day but I’ll probably try to do it at least once a week. People weren’t kidding about brake dust though! I do plan on washing her within the next 48 hours, but couldn’t resist the urge to take some shots for you all to include in this quick 1-week-review post – because lets face it, we ALL love more pics.

Anyway, as I was saying… amazing! I picked her up in Philly and had to drive back to DC so I’ve put 550 miles on this car in the first week! I don’t live very far from work, but I seem to be looking for excuses to go drive at any chance I can get! This car is incredible. Now, to be honest, since my last car was a Ford Fusion, it’s OBVIOUS that this car is going to be leaps and bounds better but figured I’d state the obvious.

Overall I’m insanely happy especially since this is my first Audi. This car handles and drives like a dream and she just wants to go faster all the time! Some additions since I got the car are: I just got clearbra installed yesterday, on the full hood, fenders, front and rear bumpers so that will help me relax a bit when driving or parallel parking. I also got the digital-fit weathertech mats for inside which are VERY nice additions and will help keep the floors clean. I also installed the red “supercharged” badges myself a few days ago, so that adds a few more HP of course!

I honestly have no bad things to say at all about this car at the moment. I’m a technology geek so the navigation, google earth, wifi, and various other technologies in the car are awesome to have. I have no issues connecting with Bluetooth to my iPhone 4S and everyone I talked to said they didn’t notice I was talking hands free in the car. I haven’t used the dynamic cruise control yet (I was advised not to until about 1,500 miles in order to prevent static RPM’s on the new engine) but that’ll be the next thing to check out. I have already come to appreciate the blind-spot indicators and the rear backup camera which are both very helpful.

If anyone has any questions about stuff, let me know, but in all, I have no problems thus far (knock on wood) and just continue to have fun with the car!

Anyway, the important stuff now – pics! Enjoy!

Is that a monster truck? Or an S4?

Looks great! Love the color!

AND I also have a 2012 Fusion. I HAVE NOTHING BAD to say about he car. It really is a great ride, smooooth. Your fusion didn't have a back up cam or blind spot indicators?

perfect choices on the colors!

get some ceramic brake pads - that'll fix you right up with regard to dust

Yes, you can see the drive select button on the dash.

Great looking machine....I enjoy mine as much as you enjoy yours. I came from an Infiniti M which I enjoyed, but not as much as I love the S4!

Nice to see a manual tranny for a change. I especially like the interior shots right now because I can picture sitting in mine....two months to go. Congrats on yours.

nah, it was a 2007 Fusion with bare basics... I do agree that I had nothing bad to say about my Fusion - 86,000+ miles with nearly NO issues at all!

haha damn, it kinda does from that angle... oh well... no real plans to change anything like that as of yet... but only time will tell! haha

yep! it's a prestige with ALL the options available for the US! go big or go home!

yeah, so i've heard... but isn't that going to cost me an arm and a leg for good/reliable ceramic pads?

thanks! yeah, i haven't had a manual in 10 years and REALLY missed it, so i promised myself that the next car I get would be manual! as for the interior shots, i completely understand! i lived off dreaming of my car based on the shots others posted - so i figured i'd return the favor to folks like you who are waiting... i always wanted more pictures to see and dream about!

use armor all wheel protectant. your wheels will stay clean for A LOT longer. i've gone over 3-4 weeks without seeing much dust on the spokes of my titanium wheels.

It'll settle. My car is stock and sits much, much lower.

Probably my biggest complaint about Audi is the stock ride heights. It is the one thing BMW beats Audi at. I wish they would pay attention. I hate wheelgap.

Who wants more pics?! (I can't help myself - i dabble in the art of photography and my other hobby is flying...)

As much as I'd like to admit I flew the helicopter, that's not the case... only flew the Cessna 172... haha

I'm tellin ya. Get ceramic brake pads. Every S4 owner should have em for daily (non-track) use. Sprays are too much cost (I've done the math) and effort.
