Spare keys/remote no longer locks/unlocks/starts car - help?

Hi everybody,

I have a 2010 S4, all this time, I've always only used ONE of the 3 remote/keys that came with the car. The 2nd master remote/key and the spare key (the one with no buttons) were always kept in a drawer. Today, when I tried to use the 2nd master remote to unlock the car, it didn't work. The little red light on the remote still flashes, but nothing happens to the car. I also tried to start it with the 2nd master remote/key, and it also didn't work. The only thing that works with the 2nd remote is if i lock/unlock the door using the physical key. I assume that the key has un-synced from the car due to lack of use?

I know there is a way to reprogram the keys for the VW/Audi's with the switchblade key with one in the ignition and one in the door, but does anybody know how to do that with the B8 A4/S4 remote fob? [wrench]

Do you have Keyless entry and keyless start? It may need to be charged (in the slot where key goes) and then used but just guessing off other cars

Nope, don't have the keyless entry/keyless start thing.
The light flashes on the remote when i press it, so the battery should be okay?

Also, I don't have a VAG Com. Was kinda hoping there's a solution where you can reprogram other keys with 1 working key.

If you are in warranty, take to dealership - this should be covered.
