I'm taking my car in for the upgraded Stasis tune in the morning. Should I be excited? [confused]

Apparently not! Still waiting to get her back.
The wife took the Q5 in for service and got a nice S-Line Avant loaner and I got a POS 09 A4 base model with front end damage and dents all over the roof! WTF?

On a side note, I actually like the Audi Concert in the A4 more than my B and O!

I upgraded to version 2 and didn't notice a huge difference, especially not as much as when I went from stock to version 1 about a year ago, I'm curious to hear what you think.

Yes you should be excited! I drove my v2 STaSIS back to back with a v1 and there was significant difference.
BUT - my friend's S4 with v1 does not have the rear sport dif - which means you can not put the engine in dynamic. Would his throttle response be slower in his vs mine in dinamic? If so - then that may have played into the "feel" between our cars.
That's actually always been something I was curious about - do non sport diff cars that do not have drive select at all have a slower throttle resonse than a car that can be set to dynamic?
EDIT: forgot to mention - he did report a very nice gain when he got his v2. More power is always worth getting excited about!

Absolutely. I never had the v1, but the v2 is very nice.

It won't be a night and day difference but the power is defintely more linear.

Im running Stasis v1 and have 17000 miles. Once I hit 50k going right to stage 3 (assuming the sc sap out by then). Not going bother with Stasis v2.

Do you like V1? Way faster than stock? any problems?

Not going bother with Stasis v2.
Why not? It's free (other than shipping/removal of ECM).

Why wouldn't you enjoy more power and tq for the next 30k miles t'ill you hit 50k and go Stg 3 (if there is in fact a stg 3)? It's a free upgrade and a better tune.

I have not really got a chance to really test it but it would seem there is more power and torque. Then again, I just got done driving an A4 for a week....

Give it a few days to re-adjust. You will be really impressed. The weather cooled down here and boy, does the thing just love that cooler air!

Yeah my logs(and others) indicate a significant increase in performance. Total boost is similar with the boost valve opening a bit less but it makes much more timing throughout the band. Looking forward to the weather cooling down!

I have to say I like it and can tell the difference!
