H&R Sport springs installed

I just had my H&R sport springs installed and Im a little skeptic about the rake look. Looking for some feed back.. Ride is diffidently more sportier and not to harsh.. I went with the springs in order not to lose my ADS. Also installing my new wheels next week. ADV10 Deep Concave. 21/10 front and rear with 285/30/21 tires. Been a long three month wait..

damn adv.1 wheels arent cheap, especially there concaves, even at my wholesale price im reluctant.....very interested to see see the fitment as they did c7 w/ 21x9 that looked spot on

Looks good! If those stock wheels had a better offset, it'd be hard for me to change them. Although I am DYING to see a 21" wheel on a C7!!!! Very cool!

The springs will settle in and the car will get a little lower in about 200 miles. The H&R Springs are definitely a great choice and do give the car a more sporty feel and definitely a much more aggressive stance. You definitely made the right choice!

The HRE wheels on my A6 are 20"x9.5" ET27.

at 21x10.... I would guess +45 or something not very aggressive, especially since you can see there's very little concavity to them. It's also hard for me to imagine how these are going to fit at all without being able to adjust the suspension front and back. It took me a couple of tries tweaking my ST's before I got it just right so there was no scrubbing and mine are just diminutive 20x8.5's!! LOL

I am hoping they fit quite nice since i gave my one lung for them ..!!!... I am a bit disappointed there are not very concave and thats what i wanted.. But believe you me i am very picky and if i don't like then ill take a loss and post them up for sale... hahhahhaha.. But lets hope that is not the case!!!

Sorry, didn't mean to rain on your parade :( I could be wrong, tire size will be a HUGE part of the fitment as well. and I have no idea what size you'll be running. also, don't sweat the 'concavity' issue, all C6 A6's unfortunately miss out on the extreme concave look due to shallow fender wells and brake caliper position. Those wheels will look AMAZING, and I'd be just like you, trying every setup I could just to make them work! [:D]

I definitely think you should plast-dip all your chrome. I'd hate for those gloss black lips to be thrown off by the glaring chrome accents of the car. I don't know why Audi keeps chroming window and door trims... it's so 90's. I've got a plan this weekend to attack all my chrome with a few cans of satin black plasti-dip. I suppose I might be a bit OCD too... LOL

Hope it all works out! I'm very interested in seeing those bad boys on. I'm running 19x9 with 255's because as Mr. Statham mentioned we have (at least on the C6's) very shallow fender wells..so there is not much room to "roll the fender" lol.

On a side note - car is looking really good Mr. Statham! Can't wait for the better video of the exhaust! I'm pretty sure tonight's dream will involve an empty road, a beastly A6, and a heavy leg =P

Looking good, I might as well get those, looks like the perfect drop IMO. I have coilovers on my daily driver 08 TL and coilovers are a big hassle when comparing them to springs....love them but don't enjoy the constant adjusting/aligning lol.

HERE YA GO!!!! Got them on yesterday and had no time to really detail my A6... Rims fit perfect IMO and there has not been any issues so far... Im really liking the drop now and the ride is much better with the Adv1's...

Yes as Oma said - I would definitely look into some nice rotors the very least (if you dont want to change everyone at once) and I would definitely recommend Adam's Rotors.
The other thing would be to get e-codes (or whatever they call them - the european version head lights) as they dont have the hideous orange markers on them..or I don't know if its doable or not, but a slight tint to the headlight with a much more concentrated thing around the orange.

Looking great dude.

I suggest blacking out the window trim and blacking out the amber in the headlight.....I did mine with vinyl and it took 3 minutes per side. Looks so much cleaner and meaner :).

AWESOME!!! The ST's are very much like stock. not my favorite, but they get the job done... my opinion is 'moot' because I come from several cars with Variant 2+ coils which are pretty harsh but handle like you're on rails! lol

Yeah they ride like stock. But I think my rear struts already blew. Car started rubbing bad in the rear. Took them off and when I push the strut down it basically don't come back up like it supposed to!!

Making a call tomorrow or will just order some adjustables for the rear!!

the rears on mine scrubbed too. probably not blown. takes a few tries to get them set just right.... or do you mean your 'stock' struts blew? that wouldn't surprise me. can't just replace the springs

ST's are simply KW's that aren't damper-adjustable. You should probably contact ST, but from the looks of your tight fitment on the rear of your 6, maybe the wheels are contacting your strut mounts? hopefully not! lol
really hard to imagine you have bad struts already... anything can happen though!
