2.7t ECU prices?

Looking all over ebay for a spare ECU to run in my 2002 A6 2.7t m-box car while my other one is off getting tuned

I find them on ebay for ~$200, which is dramatically more expensive than any of the other A6's ECUs (For the 2.8, 3.0 for 30-60 dollars). Is this normal or is it just ebay?

Anyone have an ECU I can buy?

Have to be careful when buying a used ECU unless you have someway to match up the immobilizer or a way to defeat it. The car will not start if you install a random ECU into your car.

If your interested I have one ECU from a 2002 that I can defeat the immobilizer. Install and go with no worries till your original comes back. Price on all A6/S4 ME 7.1 ECU's are 225.00 + shipping. Shoot me an email at [email protected] if interested.

As Bryan said, immobilizer is an issue... The price sounds about right as these are sought after for tuning purposes and there is only so many 2.7t cars out there. Having said that, if you have time, you can find them @ $100 too but you must be quick :)... I have 3 ECUs just for my car.
