Having an issue with my left blinker not working what so ever.. the right blinker and hazards work perfect.. wondering if this is and issue with the blinker switch itself or some other problem? My car is a 02 a4 1.8t fwd

All hazards work? It could be the switch or the Central Electric Control Module. The only way to know is by viewing the measuring block for the left turn signal switch in the steering column control module, using VCDS. The displayed measuring block will show a 1 when the switch is ON and a 0 when the switch is OFF. If the switch is working, turning ON/OFF, then check the fault codes if any, in the CECM. IIRC, there is also measuring blocks for the turn signal activation, in the CECM. If the left turn signal activation block does not show an activation of the left turn signal with the switch for the left TS showing 1 in in the SCCM, then the CECM is most likely faulty.
