Bluetooth sounds like Crap!! Pioneer AVH-P4400BH

Installed the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH in the A4. Sounds great.....other than the Bluetooth setup. Let's clarify. The BT audio from my Droid sounds great! It's the phone calls that sound horrible. Its not the phone, because my wife's phone sounds horrible too. The sound on phone calls is no better than a ham radio. What gives? Anyone else have this problem? I'm wondering if I should send the unit in for service to repair a defective BT module.

Yep. Pioneers Bluetooth is garbage. Nothing you can do about it, other than buy a different brand.

What would you recommend that integrates well with our steering wheel controls and has a great bluetooth sound quality?

I don't have personal experience with other brands/Bluetooth, but I've heard Alpine is much better than Pioneer in that regard. I prefer Pioneer's interface, but the BT is a joke. I recommend youtubing some reviews.
