I'm about to order some new microfiber towels, and was curious what everyone is using for the following:

Wheels
Paint (different for wax/sealant/quick detail?)
Glass
Interior (different for leather/plastic?)

Where do you buy yours?

I like cobra towels from autogeek.net for paint.....wheels I just use cheap microfiber towels from any auto store.....glass they make special towels just for that I use and work great again at autozone or any store like it. Interior, maybe I do it wrong but I use the same towels I use on the wheels, I mean not the same exact towels I use after I clean the wheels lol.

I don't remember the names of them or anything but I bought all of my towels from detailersdomain.com.

I use the multi-purpose ones for the wheels, the pink glass ones for the glass, the interior one for the interior, and I use one of the nice Adam's drying towels for wax...

Hope that helps!

Uber is the brand name if you get them from Phil.

^ Nailed it! Thanks EuroEclipse - for the life of me I couldn't remember and I forgot to look it up on the site after posting.

I love the uber towels. The giant gray drying towels are especially great, but I have some of just about all of them. I also like Zaino borderfree towels for quick detailer and always keep a couple in my trunk with a bottle of Z6

No worries. I use them, and they are great.

Griots towels here and the cheap auto parts store for the rims and really dirty parts (door jam) of the car.

Another vote for the uber towels from Phil... I use the waffle weave to dry, the ultra to do the interior, the black all purpose for the wheels and dirtier areas, and the quick detailer for either wax or QD removal... I've tried others and the uber's are my go

MY friend has recently suggested me to use the uber towels, So, I was just searching some details about it. Otherwise usually I too prefer to use the microfiber towels for my car.

Über black for interiors and wheels.
Über green for exterior (removing wax and polish)
Über red/orange for glass.

The green ones are incredible.
