near NJ. I have a new RS5 coming in next month and want to do the right thing when I get it, so no prep from dealer and have a pro do the clean/correction then clear bra for the car, but I'm not able to do anything myself to this level here on the cleaning side and there is zero good shops so far I have found other than just 1/2 decent hand wash (over 17 years here haven't found anyone anyway other than one guy that did from home and he has since moved away).

Chicago's too big a city to not have some one or multiple people doing this level of work. Try the regional section of the forum.

I searched for a long time for a really good, professional detailer and I finally found one that I would recommend wholeheartedly: Ivan Rajic, Lustr Auto Detail, http://www.lustrdetail.com. He did an incredible job on my Havana Black A7. I found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He set an appointment to assess the car and go over the options with me, then we picked a date for the work. He needed a couple of days, but it was well worth it. He's in one of the NW Chicago suburbs. Ivan can do the clear bra as well.
I also have another guy who did a great job with the clear bra on my A7: Rob Murphy, Design Shielding, http://designshielding.com. Rob did the hood, front and rear bumpers, and mirrors right after Ivan did the detail. He mostly works out of a high-end shop his father Brian has at 2020 S Wabash.
PM me if you want any more details.

FANTASTIC, thank you...my very late night in depth research across a ton of forums and yelp etc popped up Ivan as well. I like his process so if the work really matches I will try it. Did you have the car delivered to you without cleaning it from the dealer or did you just have Ivan fix it up after the dealer did their attempt?
PM me if you want any more details.
