Hello,
I've never posted in this forum but lurk here quite a bit. I am stationed in Stuttgart Germany and want to have my car detailed/paint correction..etc..etc. I've come across what I think is a good company to have my car detailed at but unsure of this method. It's called Highend Nanotechnik and Polarjet? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Here is a brief description from the website. They guy has a lot of exotics that he works on. I went by the shop and it looks good but the language barrier makes it hard to describe exactly what I want.

From the site:
First Thorough hand washing your car

Second Your vehicle is put in several elaborate polishing process in the best possible condition, with the highest Glanzrat

Third Vehicle is freed with an alcohol-water solution of sämtlichenSilikon, fat and acrylic residues

4th In order to obtain the optimal Glanzrat, the paint with a special "paint finish" polished

5th Nano sealant is applied in two passes

6th Your vehicle is parked for 24 hours at room temperature. During this period, the nanoparticles networked with each other.

Your vehicle is now preserved long term,
for this they get up to 60,000 km or 24 months warranty

I'd like to post the link so you guys can take a look but not sure if that's appropriate being we have sponsors. Again any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Lance

It sounds like a decent regimen: hand wash, 2-3 compounding/polishing steps depending on the finish condition, an IPA or other solvent wipe down, and a nano sealant, probably like Opti Coat, CQuartz or Gtechniq Crystal Lacquer + Silo Seal. I'd just check out the guy's work, maybe check a couple references, and if the price is reasonable (I'd guess ~$500 for the regimen above) take the plunge. Good luck and post pics!

I would be very suprised if no one there could speak English, Stuttgart isn't exactly a small German village ;)

The detail process looks pretty sound, as suggested take a look at other detals they've done in the shop...

Haha you'd be suprised how many people don't speak english...I'm not complaining it's Germany not the US. His english is very limited to say non-existent. The majority of our conversation was through google translate until he went next door to grab a kid working at the ESSO station to translate. So my point of posting here was merely to get some advice from those in the know of methods of detailing. He's got some great looking cars..I'd just never heard of the Nanotechnik before.
