Symphony 2+ issue. CD changer reads "error" "service" and won't accept any disks

Just bought this radio and had a chance to power it up yesterday. Everything works fine but the cd changer. It immediately says "error" then "service" and it won't accept a disk.

What's the deal? Is this something I can fix in VAG-COM? Did the CD changer get "locked" for shipping? If so, how do I unlock it, just hold down those same three buttons for 5 seconds?

Or has the laser gotten knocked out of alignment?

Sounds like there is either a CD stuck or the mechanism is jammed.

Yup, that was the problem. I took off the top cover and it had been shipped with 3 cd's in it. One of which had jammed. I gently moved it out of place and powered up the radio with the cover off so I could see the mechanism work. It reset itself and all is well!
