I installed my P3 gauge yesterday and removed my AWE boost gauge (thanks for the phone support RichiB!) and everything is good to go. The one problem I am having is when I set my boost sensor to the analog tap it's reading very incorrect. Under heavy boost its reading -99 -97 which is heavy vacuum and no boost it never goes into the positive. In the digital boost mode (reads off OBD port) it shows +10-12 under WOT.

I put the tap into the hose I used for my AWE tap. I had no problem with the AWE gauge with this hose and its location.

Am I missing some kind of calibration step?

nobody? Everyone had no problems with their analog tap?

Maybe my tap itself is defective

Did you do the analog sensor calibration? Mine did that at first too until I calibrated it. Go here: http://www.p3cars.com/vag-install/ towards the bottom of the page tells you how to calibrate for ambient conditions. (Cal.B)

While you're in the config menu, you may want to set the engine type correctly, otherwise some other metric comes up incorrect, too (may affect boost, but don't think so).

I will try this during lunch break. Im guessing this is the culprit
