Just Picked Up my 2013 S4

Whats up guys ! Im new to the Audi scene, just picked up my Ice Silver Metallic S4 Prestige with the sports diff and i must say, its one heck of a car ! I came from a 2011 Subaru WRX STI Sedan, and so far the Audi is a far superior car.

Im looking into some mods, is it just me or is there just not that many mods for the new 2013 S4s ? Im mostly looking into a performance oriented drop, and a front lip.

Congrats and welcome to the Audi scene! You picked the right car and the right forum to get started!

As far as a performance oriented drop, if your looking into coil overs, the KW's are the way to go, but H&R sport springs with the 1.5" drop all around give you a great ride and stance at a fraction of the price...

You are correct about not being too many products available for the 2013 models however the car just was released. Most of the performance goodies that we have tested on both our in-house 2013 cars have all been ones that are compatible off the previous generation vehicles...

had me worried there for a sec. my next car will likely be a b8.5 and I fully intend on moving my Milltek exhaust over to the new car when I pull the trigger.

The STI was getting annoying to drive on a regular basis, it just felt so cheap and had a street racer image. I wanted to step it up a notch and so the right deal came along and i jumped into the S4 without hesitating.

As far as the H&R Springs, how much are they ? And will they interfere with any of the cars drive select settings ?

felt the same way with my Evo IX. i just needed a upgrade. is your s4 s-tronic or Manual? i went with s-tronic. got tired of driving manual

Good Morning!

I am new to the Audizine as of today. I am picking up my Phantom Black 2013 S4 with manual on Wednesday of next week. I have been driving a 2004 3.0 manual A4 for the last 6 years and it has been a hell of a car. I went with a stock model with plans to modify. Any recommendations on the "MUST DO" modifications would be appreciated.

Welcome! I recommend you start your own intro and build thread to keep all of your questions and mod info in one place.

As for mods for 13's, there are quite a few actually. Tunes are starting to come around finally as well.

As for drop, depends on if you want to keep Audi Drive Select or not, if so, springs are the way, and people seem to prefer the H&R springs (oe for miles drop, super sport for lower drop) lots of pics on here. For coils people seem to prefer KW sets. Front lip may be a bit tougher to come by for the 13' anyone else have ideas for that?

As for "must" mods? Well, I suggest AWE exhaust (mostly for sound, not much go go in modding S exhausts), as Roc-Euro intake (to unleash the super charger whine) has also shown the most impressive power increases (so far as intake "power" increases go :-) I also think a Eurocode AK is a MUST for improved steering. And sways and end links if you want to reduce body roll.
