So I'm meeting with my dealer on friday and we didn't go over the numbers yet for the car I ordered so I want to get a general idea of what I should be shooting for. Specs are as follows:

2013 S4 Manual Prestige
Phantom Black Pearl
Red/Black Leather interior
Sports Diff
19" Peelers

True Car says the market avg is $56,385 but this seems way under for a 2013.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...THANKS!

Find the order guide... it is posted here somewhere, but I'm too lazy to find it right now. Figure out the invoice price (maybe truecar.com shows that too) - including destination charge. Add $500 to that. That's it. Of course you will have to add taxes and local fees, but that's what you should shoot for - at MOST. (Hint: you should really do this BEFORE you order)

When I placed the order for the car the pricing wasn't out yet which is why I didn't get a quote before the order. Im going to be leasing the car and when I was ordering the car the dealer estimated about $700-$750 a month with nothing extra down.

Can you please post your lease deal and experience. I'm going to have to negotiate my lease pretty soon (car arriving in couple of weeks) and would love to hear a first hand experience.

What is the price of the car baked into the calculations?

Most people are going to tell you not to put money down on a lease.

I bought an S4, $58,080 MSRP, Lease, 12k/year, 36-Months for $699/Month + $3,500 Down ($4,500 when you count the Audi Loyalty)

Tell him you want that deal for $699 or you'll go to New Jersey. I got mine from Don at DCH Millburn Audi last week.

Read this http://www.carbuyingtips.com/lease.htm

The guy provides a free excel sheet that you can plug your no.'s into and figure out if there is any padding in your deal. Money Factor for July is 0.00141 and Residual should be 58% premium plus and probably 56% prestige. Use those to factor the rest.
