I think the question has been posed before, with the answer being 'unlikely'.
It is believed and at least stated it is due to hardware restriction. For example, we ('10-'12) owners will never get Audi connect obviously because we dont have the hardware for it. But maybe future updates of our current MMI (if any?) may implement some of the changes seen in the '13 model.
But this is just a guess...

I wouldn't hold your breath for an MMI update. As far as retrofiting it it is possible if you're willing to dump enough cash into it. Might be cheaper to trade your car in.

thanq you for your answer.
i hope we can have the new mmi it is really nice it shows you everything in the road and it will really help me because i live in Washington DC and the roads are messy
It will likely be possible but for the cost you can just get yourself into a B8.5 S4

i can trade it in 4 couple grands but the problem they don't have the white interior yet

The new hardware has a Tegra processor. Pre-facelift does not.

The new hardware has a Tegra processor. Pre-facelift does not.No it doesn't. It uses a discrete GPU. The first car with a Tegra SoC is the forthcoming A3.
