So ive been piecing a component system together over the last few months due to some blown speakers in my bose system as well as the desire to get decent sound out of an ipod interface.

Right now I've got a Pioneer deck, Alpine xpower amp, JL 8" sub in a sealed box, and some kenwood components in the front doors. The highs and the lows are covered but for as much as I've been messing around with it, I can get the mids to come though. This might sound really dumb, but I miss the way the Bose system sounds, nice and even. "No highs, no lows, just Bose" (or so I'm told).

So my question is this, what would be a good set of components for the rear doors that would help even things out a bit? I'm looking for a warm, full sound. Not the peaky highs and muddy lows that I'm fighting right now.

How about tuning the amp, any tips? And please dont tell me to put my bose stuff back in [>_<]

Might check out some Hertz if you can. I love the way they sound.

Try using the same speaker model front and rear, that way The sound is uniform

Normally tweeters or highs made out of metal composition will have a higher sound while silk dome, paper and other non-metallic tweeters will have a softer/warmer sound. I like DLS, Focals and one of my more affodable high end components the Alpine Pros.
