Edit: Ended up getting a real set of LMs used. Glad I waited and the reps didn't work out.

I posted this in the b7 section and figured I might get some more answers here as well.

I really wanted to get Linea Corse LM reps in 18x8.5 et35 but wheeldude has none in stock and has no idea when or if they will again. I have been searching around for a while and I have my mind set on 18x9 et40 esm 004 lm reps.

I am wondering if I will run into any problems running 18x9 et40. I am on Koni Coilovers and could run a small spacer if needed for inner clearance. I also will be rolling the fenders. I will most likely be running a 225/40/18 tire. Thanks in advance.

I spoke to the guy at ESM and he said he's not sure but he thinks it's going to take atleast a 10mm spacer in the front the clear the b7 brake calipers. I really don't want to run anything more of a stretch than a 225/40 and I really don't want to rub everywhere. Thanks in advance for the help!

What size tire and rim are you presently running? Are you primarily concerned about the offset?

I'm running the stock wheels 17x7.5 +45 right now. I'm worried with the lm reps they normally require a spacer to clear the b7 brake caliper. The linea corse 18x8.5 +35 supposedly required a 5mm spacer, those wheels have a 1.5" lip. These 18x9 +40 esm are probably going to require a 10mm spacer or more and they have a 3" lip. I'm worried I am going to have to run to wide of a spacer and make me rub on the fenders and screw my fenders all up.

I also found a new set of lm reps in 18x8.5 +35. They are made by wagen wheels.

I just don't know much about them. I have heard plenty about ESM and about Linea Corse.

Alright everybody help me pick between the ESM 18x9 +40 LM reps and the Wagen Wheels 18x8.5 +30 LM reps. The ESM will most likely require a 10mm spacer, maybe grinding down the caliper down as well. The Wagen Wheels should bolt right up but might require me to either run a small spacer or grind caliper down.
