I got my setup from Crutchfield with the PAC harness and I'm trying to pull my Symphony 2 to check which one to use (I believe it's the big black block one not the one with the slim black with the slim red, it's non-Bose). I tried using the Keys that came with my kit and its being a PITA, the keys keep pulling out even though I'm pulling firmly (Enfig makes it look so easy in the video) wth am I doing wrong?!!! The Keys I have are the 120 86-9001 and I'm using the long end.

Don't everybody respond all @ once.

Maybe if I bought my stuff from Enfig I may have got some help and responses instead of 35 views with no one responding.

I just want to say thanks to you all for your help, you guys were all so helpful. In case anyone was wondering or had the same issue, stick the keys in to where they click and push the keys outward and pull.

The keys actually locked in at each corner. This particular subforum is VERY slow.. Glad you got it worked out. Make sure and share some pics once it's installed.

This forum, like cerwin69 said, is slow. Normally I'm quick to get in here and help people out. Sorry I was not at your beckon call this weekend.[rolleyes] Good luck with your install and when you start realizing that PAC gear you got from Crutchfield is a PITA and doesn't work half the time, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread so I can direct you to the right harnesses, from enfig, to get it working. We're not enfig whores in here for no reason. They sell good shit that works.

Yea okay maybe it was rediculous for me to demand help right away on a sub forum that ppl probably only visit when they buy a new stereo or stuff for their stereo (like me) so yea for that I was a deuch but in my deffense I wasa lil annoyed that I couldn't find a fix for my prob right away. My PAC works great, I'm not saying that enfig isn't a good product or doggin them in any way because when it comes diwn to it they have to be doing something right to be recommended and be able to sell their products at the prices they have them, I go with crutchfield because it has never failed me in previous cars including cars of my friends and fam and because I get a good deal from crutchfield through work. If my crutchfield products fail me I'll give enfig a try.

I am having the same problem. The installer had keys and has been hammerin on the keyslots. He ended up taking the dash apart to get the radio out. Good luck

Your installer is an idiot. I've pulled out countless Audi and Mercedes radios with keys.

I have to agree, while they are in tight, I would be surprised at an installer having any issues at all. I made my own keys using filing cabinet dividers and they work just fine, I think it's all down to making sure the keys are all locked into position before pulling on them.

Sorry guys... I spend all day answering calls and E-mails... I wish I could spend all day on forums... I actually havent been on here in 2 weeks. Yeah what happens is that if you pull before you retract the keys they get wedged against the sides. All you have to do is push the radio in and start again.

But if you would have bought from us you could have called and asked [;)]

Here's a new Install video for 07-08 B7's
