Hi i have searched around but have not really found anything about this type of tune. I was wondering if someone could estimate the power i could be looking at with my aeb 1.8t awd if I got a K04 with a test pipe, full exhaust, carbonio intake, Giac K04 tune and a fuel pressure upgrade. Would I need better injectors and would the power be worth the money at the moment i have a chip with cat back exhaust just K03? Would an ATP manifold help? I just live around a hilly area and I'm looking for more bottom end on my car without ripping out the whole engine. I have a feeling I would maybe be looking at only 50 more hp and maybe 60 more tq is that about right?

That is the most commonly asked question on this forum. You need to search harder. And the K04 isn't worth the money.

What you want is the PC16 tune which uses 310cc injectors and an adjustable FPR. The other GIAC K04 tunes for the K04-15 use the stock injectors and a 5 bar fpr.

The PC16 tune will get you up around 230-250chp. The K04-15 isn't a huge jump in power vs a chipped K03.

OP, are you in Princeton, NJ? I'm local and can give you a ride in my setup for the low price of a 6 pack of Leinenkugel. I have a B5 1.8T AEB w/ every bolt on for a K04-015 running GIAC PC16. Look at my sig for list of mods. Full VCDS as well, i can VAG you (no homo) if you need it.

You can always look for a used gtrs kit. I picked up a gtrs, all the hardware, 007dv, 3 inch intake, maf, injectors, 440cc uni file, and 3 inch exhaust for $1500. There are deals you just need to look.

You're going to pay 4 times as much for KKK Audi longitudinal specific turbos.

It's not that it's a bad turbo, it's that it's supposed to only be a ~15hp factory BW upgrade, yet pushed 300%+ past it's duty cycle [:D] with all this software out there. They are not supposed to be 250 hp , 300TQ, 20 PSI turbos....yet they are pushed to that.

That turbo cost 4 times what's it's worth because it only has one application in the world. For hundreds and hundreds less you can source some full ATP/SPA manifold T3 or elem turbo kit getting rid of that joke KKK flange stuff and when your turbo does finally go...easly bolt on another for a 1/4 cost of what these Ko4s are going for. I mean, I kick myself for all these KO4s I've gone through...when I could of converted and slapped on another T3 flange turbo in ~1.5 hours for $300/400.

ATP with Tial WG for $400 on the classifieds. That, buy that! Then you'll have so so so many turbos to chose from, easy easy install, and dial back the boost with WG spring/mbc ....which will only increase the life as you're not pushing a turbo even thought large turbos are meant for that, unlike a KO4 beatin to death.
