Scratched Bumper

My GF scratched my bumper with her scooter. Right down to the black plastic. I've used touch up paint but I'm not happy with the results. Should I go to a detail shop or do I need a body shop to get it looking better? I tried to upload pics but photobucket is not working.

The scratch is only 2mm wide but 4 inches long. Touch up paid has covered it but it's still rough looking. I have not yet applied the clear coat touch up.

My car is Ibis White.

Same thing happened to mine. I put layers of touch up paint on it so i was rough and higher than the paint level. Then rubbing coumpount it down by hand til it dried then again until it was good enough for noone to notice. Then applied the clear. Its decent for now.I will prob repaint the bumper one day.

Not sure of your location, but it's worth looking into some of the mobile repair services. A quality tech can work wonders, and the cost is significantly less than body shop rates. Better still, the car is only out of circulation for four or five hours.
