Hi all

Does this http://www.tmtuning.com/HOME/catalog/product_detail.php?default_product=461 give you more room for a front mount intercooler. I have hacked my OEM front bumper to bits across the lower grill section and dont want to have to do the same to its replacement. Your help would be appreciated

Thanks

Your still going to end up cutting the rieger but mostly in the center..

I have a larger FMIC and no cutting was required, I did have to kinda curve out a radius where the silicone 3"-2.5" transition couplings sit in the up most front lower part of the FMIC/bumper.

You'd still need to trim depending on your intercooler

Mine's 31.50L x 8.00H x 3.50D. Needed to trim around 1-1.5" on the bumper, trimmed (radiused) a lot for the pipes to the intercooler, only trimmed the lip of the re-bar. Pipes are around 1/4" past the bumper.

Apart from the pipes, it didn't look like there was any trimming. There's still a good ~1.5" of bumper left.

Depends on the size of the core and pipes, most of the larger ones will require some trimming for the pipes.

Here is a link (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/178921-New-FMIC-installed) to thread of Fred installing his Racetec FMIC under the same type of bumper your asking about.

Thanks again. But I cheaped out and brought a CXracing POS. The pipes sit low, which mean its hack time.
