ok so i have recently had my frankenturbo f4l installed on my b5 with hi flow exhaust manifold and audi tt diverter valve and a mbc...i have been having problems overboosting when i have n75 electrical connector plugged in im hitting 20 pounds on stock ecm

http://youtu.be/Hbvma7iCyp4

with the n75 disconnected im hitting 9 psi

http://youtu.be/nSF73AplJKg

my car runs much better with the n75 disconnected and i think thats what i should properly boost at on a stock tune

i dont have vag com unfortunately so i cant view any logs..when i had the turbo installed i didnt have a boost gauge...
anyone go thru this similar problem?

i plan on going with unitronics stage 2 plus tune... waiting to buy a few more parts such as 3 inch muffler , resonator, 440 cc injectors, 3 bar fuel pressure regulator and im set for tune....damn i thought it should run properly with n75 connected though

Give Dave at Motoza a call. He is the guy to go to for a FT tune.

When i had my frankenturbo, even on a tuned ecu i would have a crazy over boost issue. installed a manual boost controller and set it to 22psi all day no issues. i used a hallman pro rx Im willing to sell it since i now you a electronic boost controller. if your interested pm me.

Are you running a stock style N75 valve or the "race" N75 valve? If you're running the race valve it can cause overboost issues. If you're running the stock one it may just be getting worn out. I ran my F4 on the stock tune for almost 2 weeks and it would spike to around 12-13psi and settle around 10psi.

That's not what you are gonna get at the wheels, I hope you understand that is the rating at the crank. The Uni tune is not written for the FT specifically. Dave writes FT specific tunes.

Why would it, your tune is designed for a WG that has a 5psi spring and your FT should have a stiffer spring then that. So with your N75 plugged in the ECU thinks the turbo is going to hit the stock boost when in fact it is it will be much higher since the WG is not opening at the same time. If you want it to run right then use something else to run it at the boost level your tune is designed for, but your still going to have issues because you are still running the stock fueling which isn't designed for anything more then a K03.

That is a dyno sheet of hp at the wheels vs Uni rating at the crank/flywheel. 229whp is basically 269chp on a FWD car and would be 293chp on a quattro. Uni's 260chp is about 221whp on a FWD car and 202.8whp on a quattro car.
