car hesitates while accelerating

Hey guys got a new problem again
It seems like my turbo isnt kicking sometimes. 1st gear sometimes has no power torque and the.other gears do. Also when driving.sometimes i hear my turbo spooling up, other times i dont. Is this normal? What do you guys think? I figured if it was a boost leak it the issue would be constant and not come and go randomly.

My guess would be coils. On my VR6, I had minor cracks in the coil (VRs have a single coil pack) and when it would rain, the humidity would cause the coil to arc. The effect was exactly what you're describing.

I figured out the original problem (loose spark plugs and a messed up hose) i updated the thread. I have a new issue that came up.
