So I just put on some stasis street sports and one thing I noticed is how high the rear sits. even with the collars all the way down it still sits fairly high. Is this just how this suspension is?

Mine doesn't have that problem. In fact, my passengers side rear is lower than the other three corners.

Could you maybe shoot me a pic of how your rear struts are together. Want to make sure I didn't assemble them incorrectly

It would have to be until the weekend.

Streetsports with 19's. I have about 1.5" of threads to go lower. If I recall that's sitting at 34.75" gtf.

Im about 24.5" GTF and my rear actually sits lower than the front and I still have room to lower the collars.

Hahaha, I must be off with that height....

I'm sitting at 25f 25.5r. NOT 30something haha.

The rear lip IS supposed to be closer to the wheel. Front wheel arches always have more gap. Going to balance mine a little this summer.

Wooah what is that massive rubber hat? Mine is less than an inch thick. Not sure if that's the prob... Plus, your springs look different. Not just in color but type.

It says stasis on it and looked liked it was supposed to go there. Will try taking them out and see what happens.

Going to be slammed once you replace that rubber top, be sure to dial the collars up a bunch. Sounds like maybe an inch or so of remaining showing thread will be close, but measure it up.

Replied to your PM.

I can assure you that I don't have that rubber hat thing. IIRC, that hat is to retain "stock like height."

Here's how I have mine set

what you have are NOT street sports. I have the exact same coilover. Those are old tracksports, you can tell because the linear rate hyperco springs. I have the same set. I believe the black part is supposed to say stasis facing out.

Here are the install directions:http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/B5/STaSISEngineering.com_Track_Sport_Install_v2_Audi_ b5.pdf

PS. They are nice coils, I highly recommend you check your front and rear adjusters for the damping adjust. Mine were not installed correctly and did not have holes drilled/cut for the adjusters.
