I have been repeatedly throwing two o2 sensor codes, running rich and losing boost because of these codes (as soon as codes are cleared my boost is back). Is there anything that can cause these sensors to misread? Reason im asking is because I just got the car back from having the new engine put in and the car has been fine for a month and now out of no where im being told both of my O2 sensors are bad, and i just dont see how both could have gone bad at the same time.... Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance!

Trendsetter,
I am a product specialist with Walker Products, a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of oxygen sensors. Since the O2 sensor only reports the voltage it reads, and yours are (if I interpret this correctly) both new, they are probably not to blame here. There are many factors that would cause an O2 to read rich when your engine is in fact not running rich. For example, an air leak in the exhaust or manifold near a sensor would cause it to read rich. If you will share what sensors are giving you the codes, and what the exact codes are, I may be able to help further.
