howdy,
have my amp, 2x12 subs and the line converter to take the existing stock subwoofer input, and adapt it to fit into the amp's input. all of this is in the trunk (batt is in the spare-wheel compartment). been working fine for ~1 year+

the other day I noticed there was no sound -- amp's fuse had blown. Bought a new one (was 25, replaced w/ 25) and the amp LOOKS to be working fine (fans on, lights indicate "OK"), but it's not outputting anything of power to the sub. If you put your hand on the subs, you can feel that it's trying...but just no real oomf.

When i plug the speakers wire into the sub terminals, there's small sparks so there's at least power there...

suggestions? apologies in advanced, i'm not as well-versed w/ audio equipment as many of you would be.

TIA!

What's your LOC's status? Start at the input side and work your way toward your amp. Perhaps your stock amps sub output is hosed so the source is the best place to start.

cory you might be onto something here...
i'll keep you posted as I test her out on monday. It was an old shitty LOC, so it's very well a possibility...the friggin adapters look like they belong on thereifixedit.com hahah.
