Ordered a set of ESM 004 in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 last Friday. They showed up today so I mounted them up. I'm really impressed with the quality and like the look a lot. I know LM reps are a dime a dozen, but I think they look really good on B7s and these were a really good deal at $815 shipped with hub rings.
Fronts are et 32, rears are et 40. No spacers needed. 225/35/19 up front, 235/35/19 on rear.
Kudos to Ary at ESM.

I'm happy with them. ESM had great customer service also. I'd definitely order from them again in the future.

I'm thinking about ordering these in 18x9 +40 and running some spacers. Anybody know if it will fit? Now that I've seen their RS reps I want those too haha.

I dont think you will need spacers with 18x9 et40. It will sit pretty damn flush just like that.

As much as I want to hate LM reps, they look damn good.

I'm not talking for flushness. I'm talking about brake caliper clearence. The second I find out the 18x9 et40 will fit up without problems (I'm willing to run small spacers) I will order these.

Any more update pics? I ordered the 18x9 et40 from ESM and they required bigger than a 20mm spacer to fit the brake caliper, so I'm returning them and trying to decide between them in 19s like you have or the wagen wheels ww1 lm reps in 18x8.5.

Also do you have any rubbing issues with the 9.5 rears?
Those look great!
LM (reps) >>>>> RS (reps).

No more updated pics unfortunately. I don't rub in the rear, and I only rub on the front fenders in tight corners. I'm really happy with the wheels.

Sick deal I am going for the same look. I am getting a like sick of the black on silver look.

Man, that looks legit. Did you have to roll your rears for the 9.5 to fit the rears?

I just about spit my Dr. Pepper out when i read this
OP - rims look great. I'm looking to buy that exact setup from ESM but they're out of stock until August. Glad to hear no spacers needed to clear the calipers on the front

you need a whopping 20mm spacer to clear the front caliper when it's at et40?!! Oh gosh... I have been searching like a mad man on the exact look/fit I want and decided to go with 18x9 et40 thinking that it would clear calipers without any problem... and now I found out you need 20mm spacers? Really?

Bump. Anymore update? On pictures or info?
I really wanted the 18x9 40ET, ESM-004 wheel but worried about caliper clearance. My second choice is the 19x8.5, 32ET all around.
So the 19x8.5, 32ET clears B7 A4 calipers up front WITHOUT the need for a spacer? Good to know. Thanks. I may buy one of each wheel and test fit to verify!
I just talked to ESM Wheels about their 18x9, 40ET caliper clearance for a B8 S4 caliper. They said it would require a 20mm+ spacer to clear since the wheel faces are so flat. I just did a conversion between the 19x8.5, 32ET wheel which dabble says fits WITHOUT spacers and the 18x9, 40ET wheels.
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator#Results
18x9, 40ET wheel has 14mm less inner clearance and sits 2mm inside the fender compared to the 19x8.5, 32ET wheel.
Hmm.

So I've checked out this thread a couple of times (among hundreds of others) and I've been looking up esm 004 fitment for my b7a4. I had planned on going with a set of 19x9.5 et40 004's all around but I'm worried that those will be too much for the front. I found a thread that pretty much says "the 19x9.5's will fit up front but may require 5mm spacers to clear the calipers which shouldn't be bad considering you should be able to run up to a 10mm spacer with the 9.5's if you run a 235/35/19 tire." I think I'm just going to order 2 of that size and pray like hell that they fit and if they don't I'll just order 2 of the 8.5's. I don't really care about poke or stance, I just think the 3.5" lip on the 9.5 wheel is so much sexier than the 2" lip on the 8.5's. I'll try to keep posted on any other information I find.
Here's the car that made me want 9.5's all around (grannet it's a b6 but still sexy):

Just thought I'd throw my few bits of knowledge/opinion out there. Lol
